Services and Repairs

We have been asked the question quite a few times:

"Do you repair computers also?"

The answer had always been "NO, we don't do it"
The reasoning behind this position was that our PCs are extremely reliable, so little work on them would be needed. Also, if working on PCs built by someone else, we didn't know what kind of craftsmanship we would encounter, so why risk the frustration?

As many of our older PCs, which are still in the field and working perfectly, started being phased out by their owners, we realized that providing services would also enhance the user experience. Many of these older PCs we built are being passed to the kids or a relative, and they require some reconditioning, retuning or even upgrades.

So, we have rethought our position and we will offer services, repair and troubleshooting.

Every single service is a 1hr minimum charge.

We are fully aware that many services are cheaper somewhere else, but "somewhere else" they don't have someone with a graduate degree in electronics checking the PCs. Superior product and service carries a premium. Beside, the total cost might even come to be the same, as I could probably solve a problem that would take someone else 2hrs in only 1hr.

On our own PCs, we are offering a 25% discount of what it would be if working on a PC not built by us, so our own PCs get preferential rates.

Depending on the background, we can give you an even nicer discount. Wanna pass that older PC to a relative and upgrade to a new stronger Ryzen based setup from us? I am surely not charging you the whole preferential labor rate, so you get double discount!
Want to pass your old clunker built by someone else to a relative and upgrade to a new stronger Ryzen based setup from us? I will not charge standard labor rate either to recondition the clunker, you'll get a discount.
